We depart from the Connecticut River Museum in ESSEX for the Winter Wildlife Eagle Cruises, now through March 18. Then back to Haddam for the rest of the 2018 season.

Our last Winter Wildlife Eagle Cruises this Friday and this weekend. Hard to believe how fast that went, even though it was a tough weather season!
We have been having a SUPER time on the Winter Cruises. Eagles galore, seals and all sorts of other wildlife and stuff!

The two Bald Eagles nest that are on our part of the river are both on eggs: Godpseed: March 6. Hamburg Cove: February 28. The Goodspeed nest we will see on out Osprey/Eagle Cruises. Come aboard!

General Bald Eagle nest update from the DEEP for 2017:
51 active nests in CT. Because of "issues" only 38 were successful. We fledged 61 eaglets!!
